Flyy Awayy Films is a film & photography production company that specializes in creating visual art through the eye of a camera lens in order to inspire, educate, as well as entertain viewers. Also, we offer full service to assist our clients, traveling nationwide in order to bring their creative ideas to life.
Coming from the Midwest, a region where film art can be overlooked, it is important that we create with the intent to evoke different thoughts and emotions. After graduating from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale with a bachelors degree in mass communication/video production and minor in cinema & photography, founder Steve N. Clair initially started Flyy Awayy Films after creating the documentary short, "Canfield". The film covered the high tension in Ferguson, Missouri just hours prior to the chaotic unrest in 2014. Since then, the film has gained high acclaim in Saint Louis. Along with being a Filmmaker and Photographer, he is also a music recording artist and apart of the STL hip-hop group, "The Domino Effect".
In 2016, "Business Insider" voted the city of Saint Louis, Missouri as the fastest growing business startup scene in the United States for young creatives. Flyy Awayy Films is a strong addition to the new age art renaissance that is currently taking place in the Midwest. Also, we are now located in Atlanta, GA and we travel to accommodate our clients.
